We do not own love;
Love owns us. (Whenever we
Don’t get in the way.)

About Ben Naga

The Spirit that graces me with its passing has no name and stems not from thoughts and words, though it gathers them up as it flows, but from feeling.

  1. And if the thought that LOVE owns us is truth, then are we not honor bound to follow wherever LOVE leads us? However that love may manifest, for as we are all one, are we not all allowed to share in the divine goodness that is LOVE, regardless of with whom that loves comes between?

    • My thought here is that when an “I” decides to “love” someone or something that is not really different on one level from “hate”ing someone or something because in both cases that individuated “I” gets in the way because it is creating an (illusory) distinction between its “self” and the object of the love or hatred. The true divine love transcends any such distinctions. Does that make sense to you?

      • Rough translation: There is no I to love YOU because in truth WE stand as ONE?

      • Got it in one. 🙂 I read an acrostic of yours of HOME somewhere today but can’t find it now. Can you refresh my f(l)ailing memory please?

      • That would stand for Having Opened My Eden.

        With all the words I have shared in your direction today, I can imagine the overload and inability to remember every detail. I giggle because I really have been wordy today.

        I’m hoping to get to you the ideas I put together for your children’s book of A Well Known Story. I have drawn parallels and connections to the stories running in my mind with the pictures representing your words. My hope is to tie my world of Where’s Alice? with the awakening of the soul that is brought about by the perusing of your words.

      • I know you’ll keep yourself busy. 🙂

        And as for the acrostic thanks for refreshing my memory. I quite liked an alternative version:

        It just sprang out at me, but then I lost it among the flurry of words that have buried me today. Talking of acrostics, later in TBOG you will come across this:

        As ever don’t miss out reading the comments. 🙂

      • I think I like your version better. For I feel like I am finally seeing clearly (represented well by Eyes) rather than Eden (which remains an undefined mystery in my mind). I would much rather take the truth I am seeing than the mystery I must seek out. For there is great wonder and mystery to be found living in the present moment being content with what is. I know for I have found this place to be the most wonderful of all my life experiences. Thank you for your part for helping me feel so uplifted and light-hearted and free-spirited – it’s truly a triply blessed way to experience the moments.
