that’s why many rootless turn to religion because they are not strong enough to do without roots…
I long ago came to the realisation that true religion directs us to go within rather than following whatever is to be found “out there”. That perspective certainly causes/caused a shift in a number of “traditional” paradigms.
Yes, I agree with the “going within” but I prefer the terms faith or belief, because religion in my view is very organized and institutionalized.
We probably have similar views, just use different words for them. 🙂
