DISCRIMINATION

DISCRIMINATION

Not thinking
Leads to innumerable errors

Thinking then
Is therefore imperative

Thinking is pointless however
Unless we act on our thoughts

There is only one thing
More important than thinking

Learning to stop
Reacting to our thoughts

About Ben Naga

The Spirit that graces me with its passing has no name and stems not from thoughts and words, though it gathers them up as it flows, but from feeling.

  1. I’m noticing more and more each day that my own thinking is sooooo….ummm….I don’t know the right word…it’s often not good thinking, stuffed full of “me-ness” and “spin”……what an un-nerving surprise that is! And so…as you write…learning to stop reacting to our thoughts…. and to “back up” and to realize, at least for myself, that the “thoughts” themselves are suspect… ah the dilemma..

  3. Ah yes, you are so spot on. Not reacting to one’s thoughts. Wise words indeed. Thank you.

  4. Ben…I’m stuck with some trying to figure out/express some ideas…I just left a request for feedback on Angela’s site..erranttranscendentalist…but she hasn’t gotten the message yet..I could use some ideas/help from someone who can go back and forth from the forest to the trees…I’m stuck in the trees and don’t even know what trees they are…any ideas? http://pocketperspectives.wordpress.com/other/half-full-half-empty/ Kathy
(Jampa doesn’t have enough internet to send him “pages” or to go to Pocket Perspectives…so I can’t get ideas from him…but I will be talking with him on the phone in a few hours..but I’m impatient right now…so any ideas????)
