Solitude is a state of mind. Transforming “lonely” into “alone” is simply a matter of reorganising a few letters of the alphabet and one or two ephemeral attitudes. Then let go of a few more unhelpful viewpoints and “alone” ceases to carry that imposed burden of discomfort. Could have done this ages ago.

  1. I love this!! I love a little alone time in life. At one time, I was lonely. But, I managed to shift my view and my attention inward and noticed that loneliness was measured by the distance I felt from my own inner peace. Thanks so much for this wonderful nugget of wisdom!!
