TOLERANCE

If you wish to promote tolerance, first practise by observing yourself.

About Ben Naga

The Spirit that graces me with its passing has no name and stems not from thoughts and words, though it gathers them up as it flows, but from feeling.

  1. I feel strongly this is a good thing to consider. Especially at the beginning of a journey of self discovery. So often we are lost in the love of things to make us feel better. But the search for things to make us feel better will never be successful as long as we are unhappy being the one that we already are. How can the outside make you happy when the inside remains unfulfilled? Look within, find love, find peace, find security and soon without will positively reflect all the same you have just discovered.

    • Also it is perhaps only after we carefully and deeply study the ways in which we excuse or condemn ourselves that we can judge others without bias. A kind of twist on the more common understanding of Matthew 7.3: “And why beholdest thou the mote that is in thy brother’s eye, but considerest not the beam that is in thine own eye?”
